The Mercedes Benz EQC

Electric cars are no longer new to the automotive industry. Most of the reputable manufacturers globally have gone ahead to produce a wide range of electric options from hybrids to purely electric cars. The Mercedes brand however had no rush to explore this new venture. Its safe to say it was worth the wait. At the 2018 Paris Motor Show, they debuted their first EQC car based on the Generation EQ concept. This revolutionary unit immediately earned its place in the lead amongst its Tesla counterparts.

 

The EQC400 4MATIC is powered by two electric motors located at the front and rear axles, and produces 300 kW. It can effortlessly reach a top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph).

The 80 kWh battery pack has a modular design and consists of 384 lithium-ion cells and can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes, while using a fast charger.

A Brand new Mercedes EQC Sport averages at £65,640 VAT Inclusive while the higher spec AMG Line Premium goes for about £72,280.
